Bill Pierce: Artists' Promoter

Throughout Bill Pierce's career, one thing has remained consistent; a commitment to promoting his fellow artists. He has promoted numerous art exhbitons throughout San Diego County. Bill has worked in a variety of mediums, including sculpture,
silkscreen prints and clothing, rock posters, and web and graphic design. His artwork has been shown at the San Diego Museum of Natural History, and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. Additionally, his work has been shown in Sacramento, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Palm Springs, and Long Beach, California; Chicago, IL; New York, NY; and Gainesville, FL. International showings include; Tokyo, Japan; Reykjavik, Iceland; Rome, Italy; Brussels, Belgium, and London, UK.

What is your vision of the future of the Visual arts for San Diego?

"San Diego has a lot of potential for a thriving art scene, which it currently does not have. If we build on the models of other cities that are successful in the arts, I believe the scene here can grow. More support is needed from the people and from government."
